Talks
We give illustrated talks about the Avro Vulcan to groups and societies in Essex, London and the Home Counties in return for a suitable donation. Our talks cover the design and development of the Vulcan’s, its nuclear deterrent role in the Cold War, its part in the 1982 Falklands conflict and our work restoring XL426 at London Southend Airport.
Our talks are not overly technical and so are suitable for almost any audience. We can tailor their length to last anything between 45 and 90 minutes. As we are all volunteers, our talks normally take place on weekday evenings but other times may be possible, so please ask. We will bring along our own laptop and projector but will need you to provide a screen (unless your venue has a large, white wall suitable to project images onto).
