Maintaining Vulcan XL426

We maintain XL426 in 'live' ground running condition, one of only three Vulcans in the world to be preserved this way. Our engineering programme aims to keep XL426 as a 'live' ground running aircraft for at least the next 20 years.

Displaying Vulcan XL426

As a registered charity, all our work on XL426 is for the benefit of the public. We do, therefore, open XL426 to visitors regularly at our popular 'Visit the Vulcan' Days during the spring, summer and autumn.

Special Events

We organise Special Events for enthusiasts in the south Essex area featuring guest speakers from the world of aviation.

Talks

We give illustrated talks about the Avro Vulcan to groups and societies in Essex, London and the Home Counties in return for a suitable donation.

Vulcan News is the Trust’s own magazine which is published twice a year and sent free to all members.
