Following the Prime Minister’s announcement of new lockdown measures coming into force in England from 5 November, we have contacted everyone who has purchased tickets regarding a rearranged date for this event.
If you have tickets but haven't heard from us, please get in touch with us via email@example.com.
Vulcan XL426 will be returning to the London Southend Airport runway at a spectacular special taxi-run event on Saturday 14 November 2020.
To enable social distancing, the event will be in two parts with one one taxi-run in the morning and a second in the afternoon. Attendance will be by advance ticket only and limited strictly to 125 persons per session.
Viewing will be from the apron area in front of the Trust’s hangar. This will give an uninterrupted view across the airport and unrivalled photographic opportunities. After speeding down the runway, XL426 will taxi back to the apron area, giving a superb close-up view as the Vulcan taxies in and shuts down her engines.
Teas, coffees and refreshments will be on sale throughout the day. Our Vulcan souvenir stall will be open for anyone wishing to take home a memento of their visit.
Whilst this is an outdoor event, to ensure it can run safely in the current environment, we will require all visitors, unless they have a medical exemption, to wear a face covering at all times they are with us.
Should it be necessary to cancel the event for any reason, we will provide full refunds on all ticket purchases. We won’t, though, be able to compensate for other costs you or your guests might incur attending the event, such as travelling or hotel costs.
